Show 2 coming soon...

Thanks for your patience, show 2 is coming very soon. In fact, since there has been such a delay, show 3 will probably follow on within a couple of days!

We will update you on our schedule as soon as the next show comes out.

Show One here!

The very first episode of our new podcast is finally available to download! In this first episode, we look in detail at the very first episode of Doctor Who, "An Unearthly Child."

You can download it by clicking here. If you would like to subscribe via iTunes, open iTunes first then click here.

To give us some feedback on our first show, there are several options:

1) Leave a comment on this blog - go on, you know you want to...

2) Email us at cadmium2@futilityradio.com.

3) Send us a voicemail by emailing us a sound file to the above address, or

4) Call us on 07921 350340 and leave us some feedback (international listeners dial +447921 350340).

We have plenty of topics for upcoming shows planned, so if you would like to contribute your thoughts about the shows we are covering, get in touch!

Show 2 is an interview with Nick Briggs from Big Finish (who produce some excellent audio plays, including Doctor Who featuring the original cast). Click here for more info.

In Show 3, we look at the first serial from the 1970's ITV show Timeslip, called "The Wrong End of Time".

Show 4 will hopefully be a set report from one of the Big Finish audios.

Show 5 will be the James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies". We will record the shows in batches of between 2 and 4, so as soon as we decide the schedule we will publish it so you can contribute if you want.

Hope you enjoy the opening show,

Paul, Mike and Andrew.

welcome...

...to Cadmium2. A podcast and blog principally devoted to the television series of Doctor Who from 1963-200? also including the audio drama series produced by Big Finish.

Given that the majority of Doctor Who podcasts are magazine style shows, we wanted to try something a little different. Tachyon TV have already done the 'irreverent commentary' style - so our intention is to cover every story, although not in chronological order, and discuss the content, ideas within, and every other aspect we can think of! As you'll discover when listening, we all have pretty strong opinions about the show, which should hopefully make for interesting listening.

We're also keen on a lot of other British Cult TV and radio so, from time to time, we will intersperse the Who-casts with something from another series (Sapphire and Steel, Robin of Sherwood, Nebulous etc). The first show will be out in the next month and will be available on iTunes. We'd love to get feedback from you, so feel free to leave comments on this blog. You'll be hearing from us...
